Hope Springs Environmental Statement

Hope Springs Institute has a history of being an active participant in environmentally conscientious living. We have a fundamental guiding principle of conservation of the land along with a strong policy of reducing, reusing, and recycling; we pay attention to the products we use and the way in which we work in alliance with the earth and our immediate environment. We recognize that there is more to be accomplished and we are in a continuous process of developing a sustainable relationship with the planet that we all share.

Hope Springs is committed to the development of practices that will improve environmental quality, decrease waste, conserve natural resources, and support individuals and other non-profit organizations and businesses in raising their awareness and taking action.

We promise to listen to advice which helps us improve our relationship with the environment, to educate and train ourselves, our staff and our volunteers, to develop and implement ideas that reduce our negative impact on our planet, and to pass along our ideas and commitments. We encourage our customers to use products and services in an environmentally-sensitive way.

We pledge to monitor our progress and review our environmental performance on a regular basis.
